Robert Floyd McMillan

Mr. Robert F. McMillan, age 77, passed away early Sunday morning, April 5, 2015, at his home in Batesville, Mississippi. Robert is the husband of Mrs. Edith McMillan. Funeral services for Mr. McMillan will be held Wednesday, April 8th, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at Wells Funeral Home Chapel with interment to follow at McIvor Cemetery in Batesville, MS. The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 5:00 to 8:00 at Wells Funeral Home in Batesville, MS. Dr. Gary Berry will officiate the service. Robert was born June 6, 1937 to the late Louis Bryce McMillan and Annie Lenora Wilkins McMillan. Robert spent his lifetime farming and eventually retired from the profession. In his leisure time he enjoyed, fishing, watching all sports, working in his garden and visiting with friends at the coffee shop. Those left to cherish his memory include his wife Edith Ferrell McMillan, 4 daughters; Christy Girner (Roy) of Batesville, MS, Jackie McMillan of Madison, MS, Molly Hawkins (Howard) of Batesville, MS, and Robin Campbell (Jimmy Joe) of Batesville, MS, one sister; Betty McMillan Faulkner of Batesville, MS, 6 Grandchildren; Roy Girner, III, Sheena Girner, Leslie Flowers, Calvin Hawkins, Mandy Radinick, and Shannon Cruse, 6 Great Grandchildren; Loren Cruse, Cullen Cruse, Wyatt Radinick, Tanner Cruse, Jayci Stewart, Gabe Girner.
