Barbara Sue Moore

Sue Moore, age 64, formerly of Pope MS, passed away this morning April 1, 2015 at her home in Grenada, MS. The visitation for Mrs. Moore will be held at Wells Funeral Home in Batesville, MS on Saturday, April 4, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. A memorial service will be held following the visitation at 3:00. Inurnment will be held at a later date at Chapel Hill Cemetery, where Sue will be laid to rest beside her late brother John "Rudy" Anthony. Sue was born February 10, 1951 in Panola County MS to the late John William Anthony and Katie Frances Johnson Anthony. She was a homemaker during her life and an active member of the Daughters of the Nile. Those left to cherish her memory include 2 daughters, Vanessa Perkins (Tim) of Hollandale, MS, and Stephanie Anthony of Houston, TX; one son, John Hopper (Sherry) of Southaven, MS; 2 grandchildren, Max Perkins, and Aniston Hopper; one sister, Billie Anthony Lipshutz of Yulee, FL. and one brother, Aaron Anthony of Nole, MO. Sue is also survived by her dear friend Ken Oliver. The family requests memorial donations be sent to Sparta United Methodist church, P.O. Box 157, Holcomb, MS 38940
