Friday, December 12, 2008 at Wells Funeral Home Chapel with in interment in Magnolia Cemetery, Batesville, MS. Visitation 12:00 P.M. till services, Friday, December 12, 2008. Reverend Karen O’Brien will officiate.  Elizabeth was born October 26, 1926 to the late W.C. & Catherine Anderson Broome in Batesville, MS.  She was the former owner of Riteway Cleaners, Assistant Cashier and Head Teller at First Security Bank in Batesville, MS for over 30 years. Member of Batesville Presbyterian Church. She is survived by Nephews: Tommy Florence, Billy Broome and Dave Broome;  Nieces: Margaret L. Florence Barnhart, Sherry Broome Williams, Patty Bryant, Judy Bennette, Becky Curtis and Cathy Broome; 10 great Nieces & Nephews and 4 great-great Nieces and Nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and brothers Harold and David Broome. Family requests that memorials be sent to Batesville Presbyterian Church, 121 Eureka St., Batesville, MS 38606.
