Lillie Mae Hester Bullard

Lillie Mae Hester Bullard, 76 of Pope, MS, died Wednesday morning February 18, 2015 in Lakeland, TN. She is the wife of J.C. "Jr." Bullard. The Bullard family will hold a public visitation on Friday, February 20th at Wells Funeral Home from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. The Funeral Service for Mrs. Bullard will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, February 21, 2015 at Wells Funeral Home Chapel. The family will also receive friends prior to the service beginning at 12:00 p.m. Interment will follow the service at Chapel Hill Cemetery in Pope, MS. Lillie was born March 23, 1938 to the late Arthur D. and Lillie Bell Sanders Hester in Crowder, MS. During her full life, in addition to caring for her family, she was the owner of Bullard's Jeans and Things and was also the bookkeeper for the family business. Those surviving to cherish her loving memory include her husband J.C. Bullard of Pope, MS; 3 daughters, Melinda Bullard Nix of Southaven, MS, Pamela Bullard Griffing and her husband Trey, of Shreveport, LA, Amy Bullard Wilkins and her husband Jimmy, of Lakeland, TN; 2 sons, Ricky Bullard and his wife Carol, of Pope, MS, and Carl Bullard and his wife Karin, of Shreveport, LA; 1 sister, Frances Hester McCain of Smithville, MS; 2 brothers, John Hester of Anderson, IN. and Paul Hester and his wife Wanda, of Marks, MS; 7 Grandchildren and 5 Great-Grandchildren. She will be greatly missed.
