Betty Chun

Betty Chun, 72, wife of Bud Chun of Marks, MS, died Monday morning February 16, 2015 at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Memphis, TN. Services for Mrs. Chun will be held Wednesday at 1:00 pm February 18, 2015 at West Marks Baptist Church in Marks, MS. The family will receive friends prior to the service at 11:00 am. Interment will follow the service at Crowder Cemetery. Rev. Murphy Eubanks and Rev. Laurie Jones will officiate the service. The family will also hold a public visitation Tuesday evening the 17th from 5:00 to 7:00 at Wells Funeral Home in Batesville, MS. Betty was born June 30, 1942 in Crowder, MS to the late Herman Wright and Gladys Hester Macknally. Her loving memory will be cherished by her husband Bud Chun of Marks, MS, one daughter; Glennie Smith Golden (John) of Marks, MS, 4 sons; Ricky Smith (Donna) of Clarksdale MS, Steve Smith of Teasdale, MS, Chris Smith (Susan) of Oxford, MS, Bud "Bubba" Chun, Jr. of Marks, MS, 2 sisters; Louise Macknally Metcalf of Memphis TN, Diane Macknally Thrasher of Batesville MS, 2 brothers; James Macknally (Peggy) of Coldwater, MS and Billy Macknally of Batesville, MS, 9 Grandchildren and 3 Great Grandchildren. In addition to her parents, Betty was preceded in death by a daughter Kathy L. Sneed, 2 sisters; Ozelle Macknally, and Mary Bell Macknally Self, and 2 brothers; Herman (Fuzz) Macknally, Jr. and David Macknally.
