Reverend Aubrey L. Moore

Reverend Aubrey L. Moore, age 89, passed away peacefully at his home near Batesville, MS late Wednesday evening the 28th of January 2015. Funeral services for Reverend Moore will be held at First Baptist Church in Batesville, MS on Friday, January 30, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. The family will receive friends prior to the service at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Magnolia Cemetery in Batesville. Dr. Tommy Snyder will officiate the service. Aubrey was born January 28, 1926 to the late Gabriel Moore and Lucy Cornelia Bell Moore in Batesville, MS. During his lifetime he was a teacher and pastored multiple churches over a 65 year span in Mississippi and Arizona. His loving memory will be cherished by his 2 sons; Robert Moore (Carla) of Wickenburg, AZ, and Philip Moore of Batesville, MS; one daughter, Nancy Hughes (Norman) of Batesville, MS; and a total of 9 Grandchildren and 10 Great-Grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 48 years, Annie Clair Joiner Moore; 2 daughters, Beverly Moore Parker, and Brenda Moore Phillips Higgs,; 1 sister, Ruby Moore Randall; and one Great- Granddaughter, Taylor Marie Moore.
