Evelyn V. Vick

Ms. Evelyn Vick, age 96, passed away Saturday morning, January 24, 2015, at Providence Assisted Living in Batesville, Mississippi. Funeral service for Ms. Vick will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, January 27, 2015, at Wells Funeral Home in Batesville, MS. Interment will follow at Forrest Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends beginning one hour prior to the service on Tuesday. Mr. Hal Johnson will officiate the services. Evelyn was born February 12, 1918 in Panola county to the late Graham and Sarah Tidwell Vick. Ms. Vick worked in Memphis, Tennessee for the Sears Company and retired after forty years as an administrative assistant. She was a member of Mt. Olivet United Methodist Church in Batesville. Ms. Vick's loving memory will be cherished by her host of nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Evelyn was proceeded in death by one sister, Mary Lou Neil Vick; and six brothers, Darrell, Arthur Reed, Cecil, G.W., Adrian and Jerry.
