Rosa Fortinberry Adams

Rosa Fortinberry Adams, age 74, went to be with her Lord and Savior Wednesday, November 12, 2008 at her home in Batesville, Ms. Funeral services will be Sunday, November 16, 2008 at 1:00 P.M. at First Baptist Church with Dr. James Fortinberry and Reverend Charles Locke officiating. Friends are welcome from 5-8 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 15, 2008 at Wells Funeral Home.  Rosa  was born June 15, 1934 to the late Bernard and Agnes Goote Fortinberry in Tyronza, Ar..  She was retired from the State of Mississippi as a Attendence Officer for Public Schools.  Rosa was a active member of the First Baptist Church of Batesville, Ms., Member of the Home Demonstration Club, Garden Club and WMU at the First Baptist Church.Mrs. Adams leaves her Husband: Henry Glenn Adams of Batesville, Ms., Daughter: Tara Adams Weed, Batesville, Ms., 2 Sons: James B. Glasgow, Batesville, Ms., Monte G. Adams, Littleton, Co., Four Sisters: Ruth Fortinberry Thacker, Tucson, Az., Ruby Fortinberry Roberson, Courtland, Ms.., Esther Fortinberry Morgan, Oran, Mo., Ethel Fortinberry Alewine, Courtland, Ms., Six Brothers: Leonard Fortinberry, Sanford, MI.,  Dr. James Fortinberry, Orlando, Fl., Luther Fortinberry, Ocala, Fl.,  Leland Fortinberry, Beaverton, MI., Loland Fortinberry, Lambertsville, MI. and Lewis Fortinberry, Courtland, Ms..  Nine Grandchildren and Nine Great-Grandchildren.Memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church of Batesville, Ms. or a Charity of your Choice.
