Kimberly George Reaves, age 56, passed away surrounded by her family Friday morning, January 2, 2015 at her home in Batesville, MS. Funeral services Mrs. Reaves will be held Tuesday, January 6, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. at Wells Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Memorial Gardens in Clarksdale, MS. The family will receive friends Monday, January 5th from 5:00 to 7:00 in the evening at Wells Funeral Home. Kimberly, affectionaly known as "Kim", was born October 22, 1958 in Minnesota to the late Dale Eugene and Kathryn Slat George. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Batesville, MS. Kim has worked as a Registered Nurse for North Mississippi Regional Medical Center in Clarksdale, MS for many years. Kim has a passion for fishing, hunting, traveling, and shopping for antiques. She is survived by her husband, Jim Reaves of Batesville, MS; two daughters, Kristen Maxcy Jenkins (Steve) of Batesville, MS, Rebecca Maxcy McCachren (Mathew) of South Dakota; and her three grandchildren, Tiffani Amber Smith, Tabitha Aliyah Smith, and Chase Smith.
