Buddy Roper

Buddy Roper, age 51, passed away early Thursday morning, December 19, 2014 at his home near Batesville, MS. Funeral services are 3:00 P.M. Monday, December 22, 2014 at Wells Funeral Home Chapel with interment to follow in Forrest Memorial Park. Mr. Chris Kling will be officiating the service. Buddy was born August 2, 1963 in Lambert, MS to the late Lowell Raymond and Jewell Murphey Roper. Buddy was a construction worker having worked in various areas of the occupation, and was of the Christian faith. He enjoyed being outdoors, especially while hunting and fishing. Buddy will always be remembered by his wife, Nancy Hadorn Roper of Batesville, MS; daughter, Andrea Nichelle Moore of Batesville, MS; four sons, Nathan W. Darby of Hernando, MS, Chris L. Roper of Oxford, MS, Derek Neil Joslin of Batesville, MS, Raymond Daryle Roper of Batesville, MS; two brothers, Dennis Roper of Ripley, MS, Jimmy Roper of Fulton, MS and fifteen grandchildren.
