Terry Frances Whitten

Ms. Terry Whitten, age 58, passed away Thursday evening, December 11, 2014, at South Central Regional Medical Center in Laurel, Mississippi. There will be a family gathering for Ms. Whitten at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, December 14, 2014, at Wells Funeral Home in Batesville, MS with interment to follow at Shiloh Cemetery. Terry was born on December 26, 1955 to the late James G. Whitten and Clara Kennedy Whitten in Memphis, TN. She was a resident at the Ellisville State School in Ellisville, MS where she loved her stuffed animals and her magazines. Her loving memory will be cherished by her mother, Clara Kennedy Whitten of Batesville, MS; her sister, Nancy Whitten Cantrell of Vernon, AL., and 2 brothers, Robert "Bob" Kennedy Whitten of Courtland, MS, and James G. "Jim" Whitten Jr. of Batesville, MS. The family has asked for memorials contributions be sent to Ellisville State School, 1101 Hwy 11 South, Ellisville, MS 39437
