Wednesday, October 29, 2008 at Wells Funeral Home.. Reverend Reginald L. Herron was born April 4, 1936 to the late Elwood and Willie Jo Goodwin Herron in Jackson, TN. He had retired as a minister of Rose Hill Baptist Church of Batesville, MS. He is survived by his wife Sybil Cagle Herron of Batesville, MS; 3 daughters; Joyce Tippery and Laura Robison both of Batesville, MS and Kathy True of Water Valley, MS; 4 sons; Mike Herron of Water Valley,MS., Pat, Bill and Bob Herron all of Batesville, MS.; 1 sister; Barbara Shappley of Humbolt, TN. 14 Grandchildren and 11 Great- grandchildren. In lieu of flowers family has requested memorials be sent to Rose Hill Baptist Church in Batesville, MS.
