Estelle Brooks, age 92, widow of John Barton Brooks, passed Sunday morning, October 26, 2008 at Fairfield of Batesville, Ms.. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday 10/28/2008 at the Funeral Chapel of Wells Funeral Home with Interment in Magnolia Cemetery. Friends are welcome from 5:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at Wells Funeral Home Monday, October 27, 2008. Mrs. Brooks was born December 26, 1915 in Pontotoc, Ms. to Andrew Milton and Susie Reynolds McGregory. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Batesville, Ms. Estelle leaves a Daughter: Pat Brooks Cole, Batesville, Ms., Son: John Larry Brooks, Pope, Ms., Sister: Danny McGregory Little, Pontotoc, Ms., Six Grandchildren and Eight Great-Grandchildren.
