Wm. David McMahan

Wm. David McMahan, age 75, passed away Wednesday morning, November 19, 2014 at Northwest Ms. Regional Medical Center in Clarksdale, MS. Visitation for Mr. McMahan will be held Saturday, November 22nd at 12 noon at Wells Funeral Home with the funeral service to be held after at 2:00 p.m. Interment will follow at Magnolia Cemetery. David was born January 3rd, 1939 to the late David C. McMahan Jr. and Kathryn Holcombe McMahan in Batesville, MS. During his life David enjoyed listening to country music and working on arts and crafts at Delta Manor. He has an uncanny sense of humor, was a people person, and had an keen memory. He will be greatly missed by his sister Annette McMahan Kornegay (Gary) of Batesville, MS; his brother Dr. Michael L. McMahan (Brenda)of Jackson, TN; and four nephews, Richard, Chad, David, and Robert McMahan. In addition to his parents, David was preceded in death by one brother, Richard H. "Ricky" McMahan: his maternal grandparents Mr. & Mrs. Wm. J. Holcomb, and his paternal grandparents Mr. & Mrs. David C. McMahan Sr.
