Kathleen Michelle Snyder

Kathleen Michelle Snyder, age 25, passed away Saturday morning, October 25, 2014 in Hernando, MS. A life celebration will be 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, October 28, 2014 at Crowder Baptist Church with interment to follow in Crowder Cemetery. The family will receive friends Monday evening from 5:00 - 8:00 P.M. at Wells Funeral Home. Reverend Larry Kilgore will be officiating the service. Kathleen was born March 3, 1989 in Clarksdale, MS to Wesley Scott and Wendy Gazaway Snyder. Kathleen was a 2007 graduate of North Delta School in Batesville, MS where she was crowned Most Beautiful her sophomore year in 2005. While attending North Delta, she was a cheerleader for three years and was a member of the National Honor Society. Throughout her childhood, Kathleen competed in numerous beauty pageants, winning most photogenic at most events. In 2006, she won the title of Miss Batesville, and went on to compete in the 2006 Miss Mississippi Outstanding Teen Pageant in Vicksburg, MS. She had a love for craft painting, sports and anything outdoors, including, hunting and fishing, but most of all, she loved being a Mom to her five year old daughter. Kathleen's loving memory will be most cherished by her daughter, Gracelyn Anne Snyder of Cordova, TN; parents, Wesley Scott and Wendy Gazaway Snyder of Crowder, MS; maternal grandfather, James Ellis Gazaway of Crowder, MS; maternal grandmother, Jimmie Clausel Snyder of Marks, MS. She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Betty Jean Miller Gazaway and William Eugene "Bill" Snyder.
