Charles David Pittman, age 53, passed away at his home Wednesday, October 22, 2014 in Batesville, MS. The funeral services for Mr. Pittman will be at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 25, 2014, at Wells Funeral Home Chapel in Batesville, MS with interment to follow at Forrest Memorial Park in Batesville. The family will receive friends Friday October 24, 2014 at Wells Funeral Home from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Reverend Jay Teague will officiate the service. Charles David Pittman was born December 7, 1960 to the late Alma Loyd Pittman and Mary Louise Patton Pittman in Panola County MS. Charles David worked for Crown Cork & Seal in Batesville for 15 years as a senior mechanic. He is a member of the First United Pentecostal Church in Batesville, MS. His loving memory will be cherished by his wife, Linda Faye Smith Pittman of Batesville MS; three daughters, Tishia Pittman Fisher (Clay) of Batesville, MS, Danyella Pittman of Batesville, MS, and Jena Pittman Stephens (Jon) of Birmingham, AL; six sisters, Ruby Scruggs of Batesville, MS, Sara Darby of Enid, MS, Bonnie Bass of Huntington, TN, Virginia Waldo of South Carolina, Tootie Euwing of Senatobia, MS, and Lula Morsey of Batesville, MS; two brothers, Mack Pittman and Terry Pittman both of Batesville, MS; six grandchildren, Drake Jones, Kiley Jones, Cole Fisher, Lela Beck Fisher, Lane Fisher, and Isabella Stephens. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Vera Lucias & Linda Lee; and one brother, Carl Pittman. Charles David had many interest in life including fishing, hunting, riding and visiting with his grandchildren. He will be greatly missed.
