Sherrie Ann Tutor Darby

Sherrie Ann Tutor Darby, age 56, widow of the late Danny Earl Darby, passed away Wednesday afternoon at her home in Pope, MS. The family would like to invite all friends and family to a service of Celebration and Rememberance Saturday morning at 11:00 O'clock A.M. in the Chapel of Wells Funeral Home, also for visitation Friday evening from 5:00 - 8:00 P.M. Reverend Doug Tutor, Jr. and Reverend Derrick Simmons will be officiating the service and interment will follow in Forrest Memorial Park. Sherrie was born October 8, 1958 in Quitman County, MS to the late William Jewel and Nellie Mavis Tims Tutor. She was a member of Bethany Baptist Church. Sherrie was a homemaker that loved to go shopping and watching deer from her porch. While indoors, she enjoyed reading spiritual books. She could also be found watching her favorite television shows, "Golden Girls and "Friends". Sherrie was blessed to have a loving family, which includes her two daughters, Keisha Darby Austin (Ryan) of Courtland, MS, Chrystal Darby Brower (Josh) of Pope, MS; four sisters, Rita Tutor Cook of Courtland, MS, Diana Tutor Cook of Courtland, MS, Ginger Tutor Ridgeway of Courtland, MS, Myra Tutor Wright of Abbeville, MS; six brothers, Danny Ray Tutor of Batesville, MS, Ronnie Ray Tutor of Batesville, MS, Tony Lynn Tutor, John David Tutor, both of Courtland, MS, Douglas Wayne Tutor, Sr., Bobby Dale Tutor both of Senatobia, MS; four grandchildren, Sarah Beth Austin, Jacob Dylan Brower, Darby Kate Brower, Dani Klaire Brower. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Danny Earl Darby; sister, Bonnie Kay Tutor Daugherty, and a brother, Billy Leon Tutor.
