Robert T. Durham

Robert T. Durham, age 77, passed away Monday, August 25, 2014 in Sardis, MS. Funeral services will be 11:00 A.M. Thursday, August 28, 2014 at Wells Funeral Home Chapel with interment to follow in Forrest Memorial Park. Rev. John Howell, Jr. will be officiating the service. The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 5:00 - 8:00 P.M. Robert was born November 18, 1936 in Marked Tree, AR to the late William D. and Mildred Walker Durham. He was a retired fireman for the City of Memphis and also honorably served his country in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War. Robert is survived by two daughters, Dr. Nancy Durham Douglas (Phil)of Batesville, MS, Pam Durham Pugh (Matt)of Memphis, TN; son, Robert L. Durham of Sardis, MS; sister, Patty Sue Gant of Memphis, TN; two brothers, James Douglas Durham of Raleigh N.C. and William Lewis Douglas of Williamstown, W.V.; eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
