Delma "Buddy" Burdine Wilder

Delma "Buddy" Wilder, 73, husband of Jean Eastham Wilder, passed away Wednesday evening at his home in Batesville, MS. Funeral services for Mr. Wilder will be 10:00 A.M. Friday morning, August 22, 2014 at Wells Funeral Home Chapel with interment to follow in Magnolia Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday morning beginning at 9:00 A.M. Dr. Tommy Snyder will be officiating the service. Buddy was born September 14, 1940 in Pontotoc, MS to the late Loyce Quitman Wilder and Lucille Ball Wilder. Buddy retired from many years of banking with Regions Bank in Batesville MS. He was an active and faithful member of First Baptist Church in Batesville MS. During his lifetime he was a Youth Sunday School teacher, a Boy Scout Leader, and a member of the Batesville Civitan Club where he served as Treasurer. His loving memory will be cherished by his wife, Jean Eastham Wilder of Batesville MS; one daughter, Ginger Wilder Morelli of Memphis TN; two sisters, Martha Wilder Bradley of Memphis, TN and Beverly Wilder McNeece of Hernando MS; and one brother Joseph Wilder of Conway, Arkansas.
