Gary H. Kellum

Gary H. Kellum, age 66, passed away Sunday evening, August 17, 2014 at the Sanctuary Hospice House in Tupelo, MS. He was the widower of the late Darlene Kellum. Funeral service will be 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, August 20, 2014 at Wells Funeral Home Chapel with an interment to follow at 2:30 P.M. in Houston, MS. The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 5:00 - 8:00 P.M. at Wells Funeral Home. Gary was born July 8, 1948 in Houston, MS to the late Howard and Doris Kellum. He was a member of the I Am Ministries in Crowder, MS. Gary served his country in the U.S. Army having serviced in the Vietnam War. He was a humbled recipient of the Purple Heart while serving in the U.S. Army. Before his illness, Gary was a truck driver for Ashley Furniture. Gary is survived by his daughter, Tracy K. Moore (Phil) of Batesville, MS; son, Anthony Scott Kellum of Grenada, MS; sister, Barbara Melton of Houston, MS; brother, Charles Kellum of Grenada, MS; six grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
