Peggy Tutor

Ms. Peggy Tutor, age 53, passed away Monday morning August 11, 2014, at Baptist Hospital in Southaven, Mississippi. The Tutor family will receive friends from 12:00 P.M. til service time on Friday, August 15, 2014, at Wells Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Friday, August 15, 2014 in Wells Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Kevin Doyle presiding. Burial will follow at Forrest Memorial Park Cemetery Batesville, Mississippi. Peggy was born on January 27, 1961 to John and Luniel Hyland Ragon in Batesville, Mississippi. She was a cosmetologist and owner of All About U Spa in Batesville. Ms. Tutor loved spending time with her grandchildren as well as traveling. She was an active member of her church, Crossbridge Christian Church in Senatobia, Mississippi. Those who will continue Peggy’s legacy include her daughter, Madison Tutor McCool of Long Beach, MS; two sons, Jamie Smith of Horn Lake, MS and Cody Newman of Courtland, MS; one step-son, Thomas Tutor, Jr.; three sisters, Betty Alexander of Oakland, MS, Roxie Jeanis of Coldwater, MS, and Mae Bramlett of Sardis, MS; one brother, Johnnie Ragon, Jr. of Calhoun City, MS; five grandchildren, Samantha Smith, Mallory Smith, Ashton Smith, Kaelynne Livingston, Madylan Holley. Besides her parents, Peggy was preceded in death by her brother, Roy Ragon.
