Scotty W. Bland

Scotty W. Bland, age 53, passed away Wednesday morning, August 6, 2014 at Allegiance Hospital in Greenville, MS. Funeral services will be 5:00 P.M. Friday, August 8, 2014 at Wells Funeral Home Chapel with interment to follow in Forrest Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Thursday evening, August 7, 2014 from 5:00 - 8:00 P.M. at Wells Funeral Home. The Reverend Rusty Miller will be officiating the service. Scotty was born September 9, 1960 in Sardis, MS Osbond Smith Bland and Mattie Melton Bland. He was disabled due to an accident many years ago in Texas. Scotty is survived by three sons, Gary Wayne Bland, Sr. of Batesville, MS, Steven Scott Bland of Sledge, MS, Jody bland of Batesville, MS; mother, Mattie Melton Bland of Batesville, MS; brother, David Bland of Sunflower, MS; and seven grandchildren.
