Marty Keith Sharp

Marty Keith Sharp, age 55, passed away Monday, August 4, 2014 in Batesville, MS. Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M. Friday, August 8, 2014 at Wells Funeral Home Chapel with interment to follow in Forrest Memorial Park in Batesville, MS. The family will receive friends Friday beginning at 12:00 noon and continuing until the funeral service. Marty was born February 24, 1959 in Clarksdale, MS to Cecil and Bonnie Tutor Sharp. He was retired salesman that loved to play golf in his pastime. Growing up in the '60 and '70's, Marty grew to love music and played drums in several local band including, Sidetrack, Jessie Yates Band and Krossover to name a few. Marty was a member of the First Baptist Church in Batesville, MS. Those that will cherish his memory most include his daughter, Jordan Sharp of Dundee, MS; his parents, Cecil and Bonnie Tutor Sharp of Batesville, MS, and a brother, Kevin Sharp of Hernando, MS.
