William Marion Roden

William Marion Roden, age 66, passed away Wednesday morning, June 25, 2014 at his home near Batesville, Mississippi. Funeral services will be 2:00 PM, Friday June 27, 2014 at Wells Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Tim Morgan presiding. Burial will follow in Good Hope Cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday evening, June 26, 2014, from 5:00-8:00. William was born to William and Maurine Roden on April 4, 1938 in Booneville, Mississippi. Mr. Roden is a retired automotive mechanic. William is survived by three daughters, Linda Acevedo and Debbie Morris both of Batesville, MS, Roxanne Whitaker of Greenville, MS; four sons, Charles Roden and William Roden both of Batesville, MS, and Billy Miller and Ronnie Whitaker both of Greenville, MS; one sister, Martha Reece of Booneville, MS; one brother, Carl Roden of Batesville, MS; 21 Grandchildren and 33 Great Grandchildren. Besides his parents, Mr. Roden was preceded in death by his wife, Glenda Kay Roden; one sister, Shelby Thornton; and four brothers, Wayne Roden, Roy Roden, Troy Roden, Dennis Roden.
