Jefferson Burl Pollock

Jefferson Burl Pollock, age 85, passed away Sunday evening, June 22, 2014, at his home in Batesville, Mississippi. Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M. Thursday, June 26, 2014 at Wells funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Al Mullan officiating. Mr. Pollock will be interred in Forrest Memorial Park in Batesville, MS. The family will receive friends Wednesday evening, June 25, 2014 at Wells Funeral Home from 5:00 - 8:00 P.M. Mr. Pollock was born June 11, 1929 in Hohenwald, TN to the late Millard Henry and Ludie Calvert Pollock. He was a member of Enon Baptist Church, and retired from Evans Products and General Motors as a Skilled Trades Welder after forty years of service. He is survived by his four daughters, Beverly Pollock Buchanan of Adrian, MI, Conchetta Pollock Castle of Huntsville, AL, Deborah Pollock Stokes of Milan, MI, Theresa Pollock of Batesville, MS; son, Bruce Pollock of White Hills, AZ; eleven grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren.
