Funeral Services will be 10:00 A.M. Wednesday August 6, 2008 at Crowder Baptist Church with burial in Crowder Cemetery. Reverend Ben James and Reverend Larry Kilgore will be officiating. The family will recieve friends from 5:00 - 8:00 P.M. on Tuesday August 5, 2008 at Wells Funeral Home. Mr. Bailey was born June 7, 1929 to the late Victor Earl and Maggie Muirhead Bailey. He was a member of Crowder Baptist Church, past Alderman for the town of Crowder, past member of Crowder Lion's Club, and member of the First Security Bank Advisory Board. Mr. Bailey was also a farmer and U.S. Army veteran. Harold Wayne was preceded in death by his wife, Patsy Elliott Bailey and two brothers, Perry Bailey and James Bailey. Mr. Bailey is survived by his two sons, Phil Bailey and wife Sherry, Scott Bailey and wife Amy all of Crowder, Ms.; four sisters, Earline Bailey White, Sue Bailey Sutton both of Crowder, Ms., Louise Bailey Wimberly of Lambert, Ms. and Shirley Bailey Vowell of Batesville, Ms. Mr. Bailey leaves a long legacy with his six grandhildren, Caitlin, Carson, Hunter, Halle, Gates and Braxton Bailey and one Great-Grandson, Maddox Bailey Smith.
