Rose Elizabeth Hill Morrow

Rose Elizabeth Hill Morrow, age 74, died in her home, outside of Batesville, on Tuesday morning, 5/13/14. Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Friday, May 16, 2014 in Wells Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Derrick Simmons officiating. Burial will follow at Magnolia Cemetery. The family will receive friends from Noon until service time on Friday at Wells Funeral Home. Those men honored to serve as pallbearers include: Johnny Weed, Adam Weed, Bubba Waldrup, Blake Coker, Alex Whiteside and David Alexander. Rose was born to Henry Hugh & Lottie Waldrup Hill on October 12, 1939 in Pope, Mississippi. Mrs. Morrow worked for over 47 years as an Insurance Agent for Whitten Insurance Agency, Inc., in Batesville, MS. She was a member of the Pope United Methodist Church. Mrs. Rose loved animals and she always put her family first! She leaves a loving family behind, including her husband, James A. Morrow, whom she had been married to for 56 years; 2 sons, Joey A. Morrow of Fayetteville, AR and Randy Morrow (Brenda)of Batesville, MS; one brother, Hugh Terry Hill of Batesville, MS; 4 grandchildren, April Morrow Coker (Brian), Randall Hunter Morrow (Jennifer), Kendall Clark Morrow and Thomas Jeffery Morrow; along with 6 great grandchildren. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Jo Nell Morrow.
