Christine Hyde

Christine Hyde, age 81, passed away Saturday morning, April 26, 2014 at Baptist Memorial Hospital of North MS in Oxford, MS.Funeral services will be 2:00 O'clock P.M. Tuesday, April 29, 2014 at wells Funeral Home Chapel with interment to follow in Forrest Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at 12:00 noon until service time.Christine was born December 31, 1932 in Lafayette County, Mississippi to the late Tommie and Evvie Mae Ray Hyde. She was a retired factory worker from Batesville American Manufactoring in Batesville, MS. Christine was a faithful and active member of the First United Methodist Church of Batesville, MS where she was a former member of the Chancel Choir. She also at one point played the piano for the Sunday evening services at church.Christine is survived by her last living sibling, Evelyn Waldo (John) of Batesville, MS; seventeen nieces and nephews and nurmerous great and great-great nieces and nephews.
