Albertine "Tena" Taylor

Albertine "Tena" Taylor, age 88, passed away Friday afternoon, April 18, 2014 at Providence Assisted Living Home in Batesville, MS. Ms. Taylor is the widow of the late Clyde E. Taylor of Batesville, MSFuneral service will be 2:00 P.M. Monday, April 21, 2014 at Wells Funeral Home Chapel with interment to follow in Magnolia Cemetery in Batesville, MS.  The family will receive friends on Monday beginning at 12:00 noon before the service. Mr. Michael Bates will be officiating.Ms. Taylor was born January 11, 1926 in Tallhatchie County MS to the late Fred Lawson and Myrtle Cummins Melton. Tena was a retired beautician and owner of Beautyland in Batesville, MS. She was a faithful member of the Church of Christ in Batesville, MS.Ms. Taylor's loving memory will be cherished by her three daughters, Clynese Taylor Harmon and late husband David of Chapel Hill, TN, Deborah Taylor Womble  and husband Roy of Jefferson City, TN, LeAnn Taylor Beam and husband Mickey of Mooreville, MS; her son, Lowell W. Taylor, O.D. and wife Linda of Pope, MS; two sisters, Jean Clark of Memphis, TN, Darlene Moorman of Tillitobia, MS; three brothers, Frank L. Melton of Tutwiler, MS, Dillard Melton of Tutwiler, MS, Bobby Melton. She is also survived by her eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.Ms. Taylor request that in lieu of flowers, memorial donations be sent to Sardis Lake Christian Camp, 176 4-H Club Rd, Batesville, MS  38606
