Morgan Parker Jones

Morgan Parker Jones, age 15, of Greenville, MS took her place in heaven on Monday, April 14, 2014 at Blair Batson Children’s Hospital in Jackson, MS. She was born on September 12, 1998, to Jay Eric Jones and Angela Parker Jones in Greenville. Parker had attended Our Lady of Lourdes School and was a freshman at St Joseph Catholic High School where she was a member of the National Junior Honor Society and the choir. She was also a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. Parker is survived by her parents. She is the much loved granddaughter of Tony & Judy Allred Parker of Leland, MS and the late Mr. and Mrs. Walker Jones, Sr., of Greenville, MS. She will be greatly missed by her aunts and uncles: Dawn Parker Tate of Greenville; Jimmy and Greer Smith of Greenville; Walker and Linda Jones of Leland, MS; Anne Jones and the late Gary Jones of Starkville, MS; and Bryan and Nancy Blackmon of Woodstock, GA. Parker’s kind heart also touched the lives of all of her cousins, especially Robert Anthony Tate and Ryan Parker Jones, and also her great aunts and uncles, and many close friends. Parker found pure happiness in all animals especially her own. Her loving heart and wonderful spirit will be celebrated with a mass at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Greenville at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 16, 2014 with Father Bill Henry officiating. Burial will follow in Stoneville Cemetery, Stoneville, MS. The Jones family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until service time at St. Joseph's.  The arrangements are being handled by Wells Funeral Home in Batesville, MS.In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to St Joseph High School, 1501 VFW Rd., Greenville, MS  38701 or Blair Batson Children’s Hospital, 2500 North State St., Jackson, MS 39216.
