Billy Q. Allen, age 74, passed away Friday evening, April 4, 2014 at Methodist University Hospital in Memphis, TN.Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 O'clock P.M. Tuesday, April 8, 2014 at Wells Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Jay Teague officiating. The family will receive friends Monday evening from 5:00 - 8:00 P.M. Monday, April 7, 2014. Interment will follow in Forrest Memorial Park near Batesville, MS.Billy was born March 13, 1940 in Crenshaw, MS to the late Raymond and Era Moore Allen. He was of the Baptist faith and was a retired painter and carpenter with Panola Construction Company in Batesville, MS.He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Frankie Williams Allen of Batesville, MS; two daughters, Sheila Allison (Hiram) of Inverness, MS, Billie Ann Campbell (Paul) of Clinton, MS; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
