Kade Vaughn

Mr. Kade Vaughn, age 84, passed away early Monday afternoon, March 24, 2014, at his home in Crenshaw, Mississippi.A memorial service will be held on Sunday at 2:00 p.m. in the Crockett Community Center, near Senatobia, MS.  Kade was born on March 26, 1929 to Hattie Gesna Brown & Archie Clyde Vaughn in Calhoun County, Mississippi.  He has lived in the Crenshaw community since 1960 and worked as a farmer for many years.  Mr. Vaughn also worked in the Luggage Factory in Sardis, MS.  He and his wife, Nancy were groundkeepers for Longtown Cemetery for over 15 years.  He thoroughly enjoyed fishing and gardening.  Kade was a member of the Crenshaw Church of God. Those loved ones whom Mr. Vaughn leaves behind include his wife of 60 years, Dorothy Jean Franks Vaughn of Crenshaw; one daughter, Nancy Vaughn Koger; sister, Erma Ruth Grimsley and brother, Bobby Ray Vaughn, and a granddaughter, Stephanie Ann Koger, all of Crenshaw, MS.  He was preceded in death by one son, Edwin Kade Vaughn; 3 sisters, Mattie Clyde Jones, Obian Vaughn and Robbie Terry; 3 brothers, Toy Brown, Archie Van "John" Vaughn and Dlema Gene "Sam" Vaughn.
