Angela Jones Ellis

Angela "Angie" Jones Ellis, age 49, wife of Mike Ellis passed away this afternoon Thursday, March 6, 2014 at her home in Courtland, Mississippi. The funeral service will be 4:00 p.m. Sunday, March 9, 2014 at Shiloh United Methodist Church, Avery Road, Courtland, MS with Reverend Chris Cooksey presiding. The family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. until service time at the church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Angie was born in Batesville, MS on April 14, 1964 to Joel Eugene & Alice Lorene Vaughan Jones. She worked as a Case Worker for the Mississippi Department of Health and Human Services, Sardis office. Those loved ones she leaves behind include her husband, Mike Ellis of Courtland, MS; daughter, Anna Shepard Camp of Courtland, MS; parents, Joel & Lorene Vaughn Jones of Batesville; sister, Jenny Jones Sullivant of Batesville, and brother, Jason Jones also of Batesville; 2 grandchildren, Caden & Everette Camp.
