Billie Jean McCurdy

Billie Jean McCurdy age 69, widow of L.C. McCurdy, died Sunday morning 2/23/14 at Baptist Memorial Hospital of North Mississippi. The funeral for Mrs. McCurdy will be 3:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 25, 2014 in Wells Funeral Home Chapel with Mr. Robert Rawson & Mr. Michael Bates officiating. Interment will follow in Forrest Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until service time on Tuesday, in Wells Chapel. Mrs. Billie was born on October 26, 1944 to Eugene & Arlene Hicks Brockman in Milan, Tennessee. She was a member of the Batesville Church of Christ. Many may remember her as an X-Ray Technician in the Batesville Clinic, where she worked for many years. Those survivors who will continue her legacy, include: 3 sons, Kenneth L. Click (Amy) of Milan, TN, Robert Steven McCurdy (Gail) of Memphis, TN and Russell Glen McCurdy (Kimberly) of Knoxville, TN; her mother, Arlene Hicks Peevyhouse of Milan, TN; 2 sisters, Marilyn Peevyhouse Nevil (Tank) of Milan, TN, Pat Peevyhouse Murchison of Jackson, TN and 11 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; several nieces & nephews, including a special niece & nephew, Don & Gena Douglas & grand nephew, Dylan, who reside in Batesville, MS.
