Evelyn Dee Rainey

Evelyn Dee Rainey, age 73, passed away at her home near Pope, MS Sunday evening, February 9, 2014. A memorial service will be 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, February 18, 2014 in Wells Funeral Home Chapel. The family will greet friends beginning at 10:00 a.m. Mrs. Rainey was born to Leslie H. & Edna Lula Rist Minton on January 31, 1940 in Nashville, TN. She was of the Baptist faith and worked as a Collection Manager in the healthcare industry in Nashville, TN. She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Jim Rainey of Pope; one daughter, Evelyn Cherie' Rainey Young of Nashville, TN; one son, Jim Travis Rainey, Jr., of Sarah, MS; one sister, Christine Jeanette Smith of Clearwater, Florida; one brother, Barry; along with 5 grandchildren.
