Danny Darby

Danny Darby passed away Friday evening, Janaury 24, 2014 at the Regional Medical Center in Memphis, TN. Funeral service will be 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, January 28, 2014 at Bethany Baptist Church near Batesville, MS with interment following in Forrest Memorial Park in Batesville, MS. The family will receive friends Monday evening, January 27, 2014 from 5:00 - 8:00 P.M. at Wells Funeral Home. Danny was born September 3, 1957 in Grenada, MS to Alred Burt "A.B." Darby and the late Ruby Jeweline Rodgers Darby. He was a member of Bethany Baptist Church. Danny was an active carpenter/builder. He had a passion for building furniture and loved hunting and fishing with his grandkids. Those left behind to cherish his memory include his wife, Sherry Tutor Darby of Pope, MS; two daughters, Keisha Darby Austin (Ryan) of Courtland, MS, Chrystal Darby Brower (Josh) of Batesville, MS; father: Alred Burt "A.B." Darby of Batesville, MS; four sisters, Bonnie Darby Dulin of Batesville, MS, Sue Darby Alred and Shera Darby Horne both of Pope, MS, Angie Darby Ledbetter of Batesville, MS; four brothers, Ray Darby, Billy Darby, Rickey Darby all of Batesville, MS, Jackie Darby of Southaven, MS; three grandchildren, Sarah Beth Austin, Jacob Dylan Brower, Darby Kate Brower.
