Mrs. Ina Hollingsworth Lambert, 87, widow of the late Floyd Lambert, passed away Saturday morning, Saturday January 18, 2014, at the Tunica Nursing Home.
A service of rememberance will be 2:00 o'clock p.m. Tuesday, January 21, 2014 at Wells Funeral Home Chapel followed by the interment in Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Clarksdale, MS. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at 1:00 p.m.
Mrs. Lambert was born to Jim & Nannie Barham Hollingsworth on February 1, 1926 in Crump, Tennessee. She was a homemaker and a member of the Assembly of God Church. Mrs. Ina was a woman who loved to cook and visit with her friends. She enjoyed every minute spent with her family. She was sincerely devoted to her husband as well as her entire family. Among her hobbies, were quilting, gardening and fishing.
Those she leaves behind to continue on her legacy include her daughter, Faye Lambert Stewart (Randy) of Tunica, MS; 3 sons, Ray Lambert (Brenda) of Dallas, TX, Ronnie Lambert of Olive Branch and Jeff Lambert (Diane) of Marks, MS; sister, Nan Johnson of Poplar Bluff, MO; brother, Neely Hollingsworth of Cordova, TN; 8 grandchildren, Cynthia Hitchcox, Chris Warner, Crystal Warner, Zachary Lambert, Caleb Lambert, Brian Lambert, Marshall Stewart and Molly Lambert along with 6 great grandchildren.
Those whom preceded her in death include her parents, her husband, Floyd Lambert; 2 sisters, Dorothy Hollingsworth and Ima Jean Petit and one brother, Tommy Hollingsworth.
