Faye Phelps Carvan

      Mrs. Faye Phelps Carvan, 72, passed away Wenesday, June 18, 2008 at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Memphis, Tn. Funeral services were 11:00 am Saturday, June 21, 2008 at Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church of Enid,MS. Reverend Marty Evans and Reverend  Truman Scarborough officated the services. Intermen5t was in Mt. Pisgah Cemetery.Visitaion was Friday, June 20, 2008 from 5Pm to 8Pm at Wells Funeral Home.            Mrs. Carvan was born to the late Edward Lawrence and Stella Smith Phelps in Panola County, MS on March 20, 1936.      Mrs. Carvan was a homemaker and a retired nurse as a LPN.          She is survived by her husband Homer Afton Carvan, Sr. of Enid, MS; daughters Emily Carvan Goff of Bartlett, TN and Estelle Carvan Frame of Enid, MS; sons Chris Carvan of Enid,MS; Bill Frost of Millington, TN, David Frost of Bartlett, TN and Homer A. Carvan, Jr. of Gulf Shores, AL;  11 grandchildren and 2 Great-Grandchildren.She was preceded in death by her parents and three brothers Louis Phelps, Audley "Jake" Phelps and Luciuse Bernard Phelps.   Click to view Video Memorial Tribute
