Video Memorial TributeLarry "Rabbit" Neal Warner, age 66, died Monday morning 12/16/2013 at Tri-Lakes Medical Center in Batesville, MS. A memorial service with military honors will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, 12/20/13, in Wells Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Larry Kilgore presiding. A gathering of friends and family will be from 12:30 p.m. until service time Friday. "Rabbit" was born on October 28, 1947 to Ellis Robert & Mamie Inez Province Warner in Clarksdale, Mississippi. He retired from the United States Postal Service after being employeed as a Clerk in the Sardis office for over 32 years. Rabbit was a volunteer for the Sardis Fire Department. Mr. Warner was honorably discharged from the United States Marine Corps after serving during the Vietnam Era. Those who survive him include his son, Christopher "Chris" Neal Warner of Tunica, MS; daughter, Crystal Rhea Warner of Nashville, TN and one brother, Henry Ellis "Squeaky" Warner of Sardis, MS and 3 grandchildren.
