Jack Wayne Shields

Jack Wayne Shields went to be with his heavenly Father on December 4, 2013 at the age of 66. A memorial celebration will be held on Sunday, December 8th at 2:30 pm at St. Marks United Methodist Church, Grants Ferry Road in Brandon, MS. The family will receive friends at the church prior to the memorial celebration from 1pm to 2:15pm. He is survived by his wife Teresa Gee Shields of 46 years, his sons Chadwick Shields and his wife Tracy of Fort Hood, TX and Richard Shields and his wife Becka of Brandon, MS and his brothers H.M. Shields of Blair, NE, Howard and Bobby Shields of Crowder, MS and Elton Shields of Olive Branch, MS. He is also survived by his four grandchildren Brandon Shields of Fairmont, WV and Jack, Sam and Emily Grace Shields of Brandon, MS. Jack is preceded in death by his sister Joyce Shields and his parents Edgar and Emma Shields of Crowder, MS. Jack is survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and friends. Jack retired from AT&T after a 47 year career. He most enjoyed visiting with his family and friends, watching sports, and preparing for hunting season. Jack was a member of St. Marks United Methodist Church and active in the Ways and Means Sunday School class.
