Benny Lynn Haire

Mr. Benny Haire, age 56, husband to Annie Haire, died at his home in Canton, MS, Thursday morning, 11/21/13. Services will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday in Wells Funeral Home Chapel with visitation beginning at 12:00 Noon. Benny was born in Crowder, MS to Lonnie & Bernice Tutor Haire on March 17, 1957. He was a retired supervisor for Cooper Tire in Clarksdale, MS after 20 years of service. After leaving Clarksdale Benny opened his own shop, Glukstat Tire & Service in Central Mississippi. From there he and his wife, Ann, owned & operated Canton Tire & Service Center. Benny attended the Apostolic Light Church of Canton, MS. Mr. Haire leaves his wife, Ann Mailly Haire; one daughter, Teresa Kay Haire of Brandon; 2 sons, Benny "B.J." Haire, Jr. of Ridgeland and Zachary "Zack" Haire of Canton; one step-daughter, Elizabeth Hankins (Michael) of Sumner, MS and step-son, Andrew Hankins of Canton; 6 sisters, Marie Whitt of Greenville, MS, Louise Swindell of Texas, Martha Miller of North Carolina, Linda Willis & Paula Gilson both of Crowder, MS and Jeanette White of Enid, MS; along with his grandchildren, Chasten & Austin Lamb; Adam, Jacob & Hunter Haire; Mason, Harlon & Landon Hankins.
