Rubye Patterson Armstrong

Rubye Patterson Armstrong, age 86, passed away Friday morning, November 15, 2013 at Sardis Community Nursing Home in Sardis, MS. She is the widow of Gordon Edward Armstrong. Funeral services for Ms. Armstrong will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, 11/19/13, in Wells Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Kevin Crofford officiating. Burial will follow in Red Hill Cemetery, Duck Hill, MS at 2:00 p.m. Ms. Rubye's family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until service time on Tuesday at Wells. Ms. Armstrong was born June 24, 1927 in Duck Hill, MS to the late Guy and Jodie Caffey Frazier. She was a retired secretary for Sewick James Insurance Company in Memphis, TN after 11 years of faithful service. Rubye was a member of Sardis Lake Baptist Church. Ms. Armstrong loving memory will live on through her two daughters, Margaret Eubanks of Batesville, MS, Genie Robinson of Southaven, MS; sister, Mary Teleford of Nesbit, MS; five grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
