Barbara James Tidwell

Barbara James Tidwell, age 70, passed away on Thursday afternoon, 10/17/13, at Baptist Memorial Hospital, North MS. Mrs. Barbara's funeral will be 3:00 p.m. Saturday, 10/19/13 in Wells Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Derrick Simmons officiating. Burial to follow in Liberty Hill Cemetery, Pope, MS. Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. until service time on Saturday. Barbara was born on June 15, 1943 in Memphis, TN to Audrey & Iva Mae Gunner James. She was a dedicated wife and mother. Mrs. Tidwell was an active member of Liberty Hill Baptist Church. Mrs. Barbara's survivors include her husband, Wayne Tidwell; son: Mark Tidwell, both of Batesville; sister: Clyda Faye of Hernando, MS and two brothers: Joe James of Walls, MS and Mack James of Jackson, MS. Those proudly serving as pallbearers include: Shane Phelps, Mackey James, Joe Tidwell, Larry Tidwell, Gene Perry and Thomas Perry.
