William Harrison "Bill" Boyd

William Harrison "Bill" Boyd, 54, formerly of Batesville, MS, passed away Wednesday, October 9, 2013 at his home in Memphis, TN. Mr. Boyd, 54 died Wednesday, October 9, 2013. The family will receive friends from 3 p.m. until the memorial service begins at 4 p.m. Sunday, October 13 at Memorial Park Funeral Home, Memphis, TN. Friends will also be received from 5-8 p.m. Monday, October 14 at Wells Funeral Home in Batesville, MS. Bill graduated from West Panola School in 1977. He worked in the satelite and electronics field. Bill was preceded in death by his parents, Bobby and Ellen Boyd and is survived by his wife of 13 years, Pat Polk Boyd; son, James Robert Boyd of Jackson, TN; sister, Cindy Allgood (W.A.); and brother, Van Boyd (Renee) both of Batesville, MS. The family requests that memorials be made to St. Jude, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or First United Methodist Church, 119 Panola Ave., Batesville, MS 38606.
