Carl Leonard Morrow

Carl Leonard Morrow, age 56, son of the late Arvie L.J. and Mary P. Morrow, passed away Monday evening, October 7, 2013, at his home in Batesville, MS. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, 10/12/13, at Wells Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Don Shaffer presiding. Interment will follow in Forrest Memorial Park Cemetery. Carl's family will receive friends from 5:00-8:00 p.m. Friday evening, 10/11/13 at Wells Funeral Home. Carl was born to Mary Patricia O'Shea & Arvie L.J. Morrow on November 22, 1956 in Batesville, MS. He worked alongside his father as a farmer. Carl was a hard worker who enjoyed conversation. His memory was incredible; people were always amazed at how well he could recall birthdays and anniversary dates. Carl was the first baby to be born into the membership of Immanuel Baptist Church, Batesville, MS. Throughout his life he continued to love and serve both his church and family. Carl's family members who have survived him, include: one sister: Denise Morrow of Batesville; brother: Kenny Morrow (Kim) of Goodlesttsville, TN; niece, Danielle Williams (Sam) of Nashville, TN; 3 aunts: Margaret O'Connell (Jim) of Portland, OR, Miriam Koerner of Barnett, MO, Helen Grace White of Senatobia, MS and uncle Tom O'Shea of Munster, IN. He was preceded by his parents, Mary Patricia O'Shea Morrow & Arvie L.J. Morrow.
