Dorothy Mae (Dot) Gregory

Dorothy Mae (Dot) Gregory, age 69, passed away Friday, September 20, 2013 at Baptist Desoto Hospital in Southaven, MS. She is the widow of Jimmy Harold Gregory of Crenshaw, MS. Mrs. Gregory's funeral service will be 2:00 P.M. Sunday, September 22, 2013 at Wells Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Kevin Robinson officiating. Interment will follow in Longtown Cemetery near Crenshaw, MS. The family will receive friends Saturday evening from 5:00 - 8:00 P.M. at Wells Funeral Home. Dorothy Mae, affectionately known as Dot, was born October 3, 1943 in Sledge, MS to the late Henry and Sadie Mae Matthews Barlow. She was a member of Sledge Baptist Church and worked for Plumbley Rubber Company for many years. Dot is survived by her three daughters, Cheryl Kaye Lewellyn and Beverly Lynn Crump both of Crenshaw, MS, Windy Ann Peavy of Batesville, MS; sons, Jimmy Harold Gregory, Jr of Crenshaw, MS, Rodney Anglin of Batesville, MS; three sisters, Bonnie Kay Bruan of Florida, Peggy Sue Wells of Senatobia, MS, Tammy Lynn Hansen of Memphis, TN; three brothers, Billy Ross Barlow of Sarah, MS, Sammy Thomas Barlow of Loxahoma, MS, Henry lee Barlow of Tunica, MS; 8 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. Mrs. Gregory now rests with her late parents, husband, Jimmy Harold Gregory, daughter, Carol Sue Anglin and her sister, Rosemary Cook.
