Video Memorial TributePeggy Hailey Watson, 56, of Pope, MS passed away Friday morning, August 23, 2013 at Tri-Lakes Medical Center in Batesville, MS. Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M. Monday afternoon August 26, 2013 at Wells Funeral Home Chapel with the family receiving friends from 10:00 A.M. Monday until the service. Reverend Bernette Fielder will be officiating with the Pope Volunteer Fire Department serving as pallbearers. The interment will follow in Chapel Hill Cemetery in Pope, MS. Peggy was born July 29, 1957 in Marks, MS to James Gray Hailey and the late Ella May Alexander Hailey. She was a member of Evansville Baptist Church and served as administrator and volunteer fire fighter for the Pope Volunteer Fire Department. Peggy was also a L.P.N. having worked at Tallahatchie General Hospital in Charleston, MS Peggy's memory will live on through her husband, George H. Watson of Pope, MS; daughter, Mary Melissa Watson of Pope, MS; son, Christopher Watson of Senatobia, MS; father, James (Jim) Gray Hailey of Pope, MS; two sisters, Brenda Hailey Sanders of Oxford, MS, Joyce Hailey Patton of Pope, MS; two brothers, Thomas and Raymond Hailey both of Pope, MS and her two grandchildren.
