Bryant Hubert Cobb, Jr.

Bryant Hubert Cobb, Jr., age 75, passed away on Monday afternoon, 8/5/13, in Quitman County Nursing Facility, Marks, MS. The family will host a memorial service at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 7, 2013 at New Hope Church of God, 209 West Street, Batesville, MS with Reverend Raymond Aven presiding. Mr. Cobb was born in Lambert, MS to Vara Huddleston & Bryant Hubert Cobb, Sr., on March 18, 1938. He was a farmer and also a minister of the gospel. He was a member of the New Hope Church of God in Batesville, MS. Mr. Hubert loved everyone and wasn't ashamed to let them know. He lived what he preached. Many say he was the Godliest man they ever knew. He leaves his wife of 48 years, Linda Patterson Cobb of Lambert, MS and their daughter, Lisa Cobb Johnson of Lambert; sister, Ginger Harrison of Lambert brother, Mike Cobb also of Lambert; and 2 grandsons, Shane Welch and Brandon Keith Cobb. Family members which preceded him include his parents and two brothers, David Kenneth Cobb & Charles Clark Cobb. In lieu of flowers the family asks that memorials be sent to the Alzeheimer's Association, P.O.
