Morris (Ray) Rayburn Rhyne

Morris (Ray) Rayburn Rhyne, 66, of Water Valley, MS passed away Saturday morning at his brothers home in Batesville, MS. Funeral services for Mr. Rhyne will be 3:00 P.M. Sunday, June 30, 2013 at Wells Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Al Mullan officiating. Visitation will begin two hours prior to the funeral service at 1:00 P.M. Sunday. Interment will follow in Cold Springs Cemetery near Sardis, MS. Ray was born July 30, 1946 in Batesville, MS to the late Eligy Rayburn and Myrtle Ruth Taylor Rhyne. Ray was of the Baptist faith and worked as a machine operator for Borg-Warner in Water Valley, MS. Mr. Rhyne honorably served his country in the U.S. Army, having reached the rank of E-5, and Ray was a member of the V.F.W. in Water Valley, MS. Ray is survived by his siter, Rita Rhyne Mottz of Paris, MS; two brothers, Albert (Bubba) Gray of Batesville, MS and Dwight Rhyne of Houston, MS. He was preceded in death by two sisters, Eva Joy Rhyne of Water Valley, MS, Ann Gray White of Oxford, MS and a brother, Darrel Wayne Gray of Oxford, MS.
