Video Memorial TributeRoyliene C. Griffin age 70, passed away Thursday morning, June 27, 2013 at Tri-Lakes Medical Center in Batesville, MS. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, June 29, 2013 in Wells Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Harvey Sewell presiding. The family will receive friends from Noon until service time on Saturday. Interment to follow in Crowder Cemetery. Mrs. Royliene was born to James Roy & Thressea Kathleen Patterson Cofer on March 12, 1943 in Clarksdale, Mississippi. She was a member of Enon Baptist Church, Batesville, MS. For many years, Mrs. Griffin worked as an accountant assistant for Veazey & Clayton Certified Public Accountants in Marks, MS. Those whom she leaves behind to cherish her memory include; one son, Todd Owen Griffin (Jerri) of Crowder, MS; 3 grandchildren, Bryce, Leigh Taylor and Jessi. Besides her parents, Mrs. Griffin was preceded in death by her husband, Jesse Owen "Red" Griffin; and one daughter, Gidget Lynn Griffin.
